Divination

Divination is more like intriguing fun action for tourists than a serious esoteric experience. Probably, everyone in childhood called The Queen of Spades in the dark with a candle or bought fortune cookies from a school fair. Thais perform something similar in their sacred places.
In some temple complexes, a traveler may find a gong defining an aura. You need to wash your hands in a nearby bucket, and then rub them with a suspended musical instrument. For good and pure people, the gong begins to make some kind of sounds. And for the bad ones, the gong can be silent. Also you can find sticks with predictions. A tourist buys a stick with a number from a monk near the temple. He comes to a special cabinet and pulls out a box with the specified number. He takes out a piece of paper and reads the prediction for a whole year. Predictions are written in English, Thai and Chinese.
